Did you realize that all the beaches in the Cayman Islands are public up to the high water mark? It is true and they are some of the most beautiful beaches in the wotld.
Grand Cayman, Little Cayman and Cayman Brac have their own distinct beautiful beaches. See the list of the beaches of the Grand Cayman below.
Seven Mile Beach
The Seven Mile beach encompasses so many different activities, a day at the beach has the ability to leave your head spinning. Ejust relaxing and watching the waves roll in, or taking your vacation up a notch and parasailing over the Caribbean sea - Seven Mile Beach has what you’re looking for. Governors Beach is located next to the Governors house along Seven Mile Beach this spot is perfect to sit under the seagrape trees and watch the water. Just a note that their are no facilities available at this beach but there are benches to have a picnic on.
Spotts Beach
The Spotts beach is llocated in Spotts Newlands, great if you want to get away from the crowd. Surrounded by ironshore cliffs with white beaches and a barrier reef that keeps waters calm year round with huts and benches available for use.
Smith Barcadere
Located on South Sound this beach offers the convenience of being close to the cruise port to allow for more time enjoying the sun sand and sea. Well-equipped with restrooms, picnic benches, showers, phenomenal snorkelling and great photo ops, you should add Smith Barcadere to your to-do list whilst visiting our beautiful islands.
West Bay Public Beach
West Bay Public Beach is after the 4-way stop in West Bay with a wide stretch of powder soft sand and an abundance of shady sea grape trees, this stop is perfect for family get togethers. You will find a dock , restrooms/changing facilities, showers and huts/benches.
Cemetery Beach
Known for it’s superb snorkelling, but does not offer the convenience of changing facilities restrooms or watersports operators that many of the other beaches have. However, if the underwater beauty of the Cayman Islands is what you seek then be sure to put Cemetery Beach at the top of your list.
Rum Point
Rum Point with all its beauty and tranquillity of the North Side of the Islands and calm shallow waters that allow children and adults alike to play care free, this experience is what vacationing in the Caribbean is really about. This beach offers changing/restrooms, showers, huts, hammocks, a volleyball net and it's own beach bar providing food and drinks. Red Sail Sports offers all of your watersports needs - you needn’t look any further for an ideal Cayman day.
East End Public Beach
To really get away from it all, take a trip down to East End. East End Beach is secluded with only the sound of lapping waves and calling birds to distract from the state of tranquillity and peace you will find here. Also, Huts and restrooms are available on location.
Kaibo Beach
With huts, benches, hammocks, beach volleyball and an annual Mardi Gras festival, you will always be entertained and amused. The Kaibo bar and grill offers salads and sandwiches . 'Upstairs' fine dining restaurant above the beach bar offers caribbean cuisine. Kaibo Beach, in addition to volleyball is paddleboarding, sailing, kayaking (day and night) kite surfing and wakeboarding. People like to fish from the dock. Good snorkelling is by the public beach. You will find a shop here, a gas station, and free wifi. A great place to search for starfish by taking a walk up the beach to Ivory Point.
Heritage Beach
Heritage Beach has a small car parking area on the landward side of the road, and picnic facilities on the beach side. The beach is not best suited for swimming, as it grades into shallows with abundant Turtle Grass, a biologically productive system important to a diversity of marine life. Such a beautiful view across Frank Sound lagoon does however, make Heritage Beach an appealing picnic spot.

One of the most popular charter destinations in the Caribbean is the Cayman Islands. I would love to explore all the beaches you have mentioned here in your blog. I hear the island is home to some of the most breathtaking beaches in the world. I’m not surprised only chartered flights can take you to this secluded paradise.

Cayman is the island of beaches. My wife is simply crazy about these beaches. She likes to spend her holidays on these beaches. And if we talk about Cayman then her favorite would be Seven Mile Beach and Public Beach. We also like Cayman bars for their great range of wine and chilled beers.
