The setting is just as unique as the collections of art found within. Tom Butterfield, the Founder of Masterworks, recently won the Visitor Industry Partnership activities and attraction award. Since 1987 Butterfield has been dedicated to showcasing Bermuda art.

Butterfield hears positive comments about the museum, stating to The Royal Gazette, “Visitors write that they canʼt wait to come back and see what the next show is. They say they have a reason to come back to Bermuda. That is a nice thing to feel that people have made an attachment to the overall ambiance and the setting and the artwork and the friendliness.”

Masterworks Museum of Bermuda Art showcases various exhibits throughout the year, which has visitors traveling to Bermuda just to see what will show next.

The foundation will be celebrating their 25th anniversary 2012 with a special show called “A Rock and an Ocean.” The exhibit will showcase the best of Bermuda art. The foundation has much to celebrate and many to thank for their lifetime of devotion to Bermuda art.
