Sign me up Scotty, I'm flying private!

Remember a time when preparing to get on a plane was an exciting experience. Hassle-free, free meals, smiling attendants? In the grocery store the other day I overheard a mother and son discussing going to see Grandma and wasn't he excited to fly to Florida. This kid was about 10 and he replies,  "Mom, are you kidding me, can't we drive?" The mother smiles at him and goes on to say, "I know, I know..but this flight should be good, I'm sure we won't have to wait as long this time!"  I had to chuckle, poor kid knew what was coming and he was 10!

Weighing the pros and cons of flying commercially or taking a private jet charter you'd be deeply disappointed if you base your sole decision on pricing. The reality is chartering a private jet will cost more than a commercial flight all day long.  But if you really way out the pros and cons, you may just be swayed to fly on a private jet, and you wouldn't be alone.

Charter Auction since 1999, established to provide affordable private air charter travel services to business travelers and offer guaranteed competitive charter flight prices to travel agents and corporate flight departments, it is an online exchange for jet charter pricing, utilizing exclusive aircraft locater technology to make private jet charter affordable for executive travelers.  You simply make a private jet charter request by phone or through the flight planner and you get back no less than 6 or more bids, quotes from private jet charter companies bidding to win your business.  You simply chose from the list the best pricing or aircraft that suits your needs the best and you'll be in the air in no time.

Recently in a press release Brandon Ferrante, Director of Customer Service at Charter Auction stated, "We have seen a record number of online bookings for NFL players returning to training camps this week."  He added, "We have travel professionals calling for NFL players and players themselves from all over the country calling us with last minute travel requests."  What wasn't in the press release was that some of the NFL players were virgin private jet charter fliers.

Donald Bishop, principle owner of Aeroshares Charter, LLC and Charter Auction, LLC stated in an interview last week that they have been getting allot of calls from NBTA and ASTA travel planner professionals calling for clients, and clients themselves calling who have never flown on a private jet before and had had enough of flying commercially.  "The complaints are pretty much the same from clients calling to charter a private plane who are sick of flying on commercial airlines," stated Bishop.  "Long check-ins, delays, cancellations, long security check-in lines, lost baggage, added baggage and miscellaneous fees tacked on here and there, the list goes on!"  I think the only reason he ended the complaint list was because he ran out of air.

He is right. The complaints are all the same about flying commercially and anyone who has ever flown can probably add a personal nightmare, a story about a commercial flight experience such as the current media frenzy over Slater, the attendant who had enough with dealing with a passenger(s) and went a little crazy.
